Sometimes, I think that I have been rather weird in certain ways.

For example, I don't go to Zhu Yan's birthday dinner. I don't really make myself prepared for Zhu Yan's birthday either. My room mate is rather excited about her birthday, and he even tells me about it firsthand... I don't know about myself. I am good to Zhu Yan, but I never know that it is her birthday today. Maybe I have been too focused on my exam, that I forgot about a personal friend.

So what I did? Strangely, I quickly make a greeting card (I think it was about 15 mins work) and then found a present which might suit her... a necklace (I spent S$ 15.60 for it, and I am thinking about who's having the worth to give the necklace. I think she suits best, though I am not sure whether will she wear it or keep it... ;)

I try to be playing joke or anything, but I just couldn't do it. I was thinking about my CS1101C all the time. A bit exaggerating perhaps, but I think I may not do well in it anymore. NUS is rather difficult, and now I understand why people in my hometown are so much in appraisal over students who graduated from NUS. One of my good friend even crazed about NUS so much, that he liked the U itself. For me, yeah, it is my dream University, but I never thought I have to put up with so much price to pay. Man, that's life in NUS, perhaps.

Anyway, I am rather moody in the first place, while they are having their game and their birthday cake cutting ceremony. (I was very quiet all the time, because I am waiting for the right time to give the present to her)

The right time comes a long way. I gave it when everything is near over, and I am sitting with a few people, singing songs while playing guitar (Gerald, thanks for the guitar impromptu) and gave it to her while everyone didn't notice. I think it is what I am supposed to do, after being a bit bad to myself and to everyone who is concerned about me. I have not been taking care of myself well because I have been under terrible turmoil. It is a long story, and I would only tell when the time is right(anyway, Zhu Yan, if you want to ask about it, you can, but please make it after the exam okay? I am rather stressed with workload now).

I wonder if I did the right way, because in the end, after everything is finished, while I was blogging now, Zhu Yan came to my room personally to say thanks. I am full of awe with such kind of young soul. Sometimes, when you feel rather lonely, and rather stressed up with workload, you tend to forget the important friends in your life who have constantly been supporting you all the way. She's the type.

Zhu Yan, happy birthday

[Disclaimer: This doesn't mean anything, seriously. Zhu Yan is my good pal, and I confide to her everytime I have problem, so... guys, please don't think the wrong idea, okay?]

Program of the day:

int i, n;
char word[25];
char quote[100] = "Happy Birthday, Zhu Yan";
n = strlen(quote);

for (i = 0; i (smaller than) n; i++){

word[i] = quote[i];
printf("%s", word[i]);

if (quote[i] == ' ')
break;
}

[Output: Happy]
